Electro Crystal is something you might find in Genshin Impact every so often, so here’s a quick guide on how to break and collect them.

How to break and collect Electro Crystal in Genshin Impact

Electro Crystal isn’t a resource you need a particularly large amount of in Genshin Impact, but unless you go looking for them you probably won’t see them very frequently either, so it’s a good idea to break and collect them whenever you get a chance to do so and save yourself having to hunt them down to farm them later.

Electro Crystals can be broken from their usual state by damaging them with any kind of Pyro effect – A charged Amber auto-attack will work, or abilities such as Hu Taos E, which will proc Pyro.

When hit by this kind of elemental effect, the Electro crystal will break open, and leave a collectable shard behind for you to grab.

Simply gather the crystal off the floor (before it gets a chance to fall somewhere you lose track of it), and you’ve gotten your electro crystal. These little elemental rocks are typically found most often in Inazuma, but there are plenty of them around the world – they’re just quite spread out, so it can take some searching.

Fortunately, they aren’t used very frequently in crafting, so you should be safe to simply gather them occasionally, and not hit any major roadblocks if you don’t have a large stockpile of them.
