Genshin Impact: How Old is Paimon?

Aging in anime or in any anime-style video game is messed up most of the time. Having smooth skin, small frames, and other childlike features, some anime characters are actually adults. And we can only make wild guesses about how old or young they are. 

While we probably have so many questions about Genshin Impact in terms of gameplay and lore, the first ones are certainly about Paimon as she wakes us up and welcomes us to the world of Teyvat. 

Just what is this creature you sometimes tease as “Emergency Food?” Where is she from? And how old is she?

Paimon: Lore 

Although The Traveler has been traveling with Paimon, they don’t seem to have asked what she is and where she’s from. There’s no mention of where she’s from before waking you up or where she’s going after that. For some reason, she just decides to go with you. 

Hmmm… That’s a little suspicious if you ask me. But let’s save that topic for another day. 

Paimon: Age (Probably)

With her petite frame, Paimon is probably around 2-foot tall. As for her personality, she’s bubbly and often speaks her mind without thinking first, giving names to those who annoy her. An example of this is when she calls Venti a “tone-deaf bard.”

These characteristics give us an idea that Paimon is still a kid, probably around 7 years old. She definitely looks and plays the part, right? 

But then, we can’t deny the fact that Paimon has great knowledge about Teyvat (She’s your guide, duh!). Not to mention that she eats a lot, like a lot! 

This is where the confusion comes in. So, what’s your wild guess? Just how old is Paimon?
