Genshin Impact Dori Build Guide: Weapons, Artifact Sets, Roles, Talents, Constellations, and more

Genshin Impact - Dori Best Build Guide

Dori is a playable 4-star Electro character in Genshin Impact. A merchant who acquires quality items through various unknown sources, she is considered the most resourceful merchant in Sumeru and is the first person most would have in mind when they need hard-to-find wares.

However, such rare goods come at jaw-dropping prices. Moreover, since she needs to protect herself and her associates from the authorities, it won’t be easy for new customers to find her. They will need to be put to the test first.

This guide will discuss Dori‘s talents, constellations, recommended roles, best weapons, artifact sets, and more! So, if you want to add this character to your team, read on.

Dori’s Talents and Priority

It is only natural for a merchant such as Dori to be able to do a lot of things. In the battlefield, she provides good single-target healing and Energy Recharge. She can also apply Electro on enemies.

All these can be done using her Elemental Burst. Therefore, we recommend that you prioritize leveling up her Talents in the following order:

  • 1st Priority – Elemental Burst
  • 2nd Priority – Elemental Skill
  • 3rd Priority – Normal Attack

For more details about her Talents, check out the table below:

Only one Jinni can exist at one time.

This effect can be triggered once every 3s.

Recommended Roles and Teams for Dori

Dori doesn’t have good damage multipliers. However, as discussed earlier, she can heal, provide energy, and apply the Electro aura to trigger Elemental Reactions. With these, it is undeniable that she would make a great Support character.

Moreover, her Talents are not focused on providing support for a specific Element, making her a good choice for most teams.

For instance, she can be the Electro applicator for a team focused on the new Dendro Elemental Reaction called Spread. She can also be a Superconduct enabler for teams focusing on Physical DMG.

SPREAD TEAM

  • In this team, you can have Tighnari as your Main DPS.
  • If you want to trigger the Dendro Elemental Resonance for more Elemental Mastery, you can have Collei or the Traveller as your Sub-DPS.
  • You may also consider having a Shield Support here, such as Zhongli or any shielder you’re comfortable with, as long as they don’t interrupt reactions too much.
  • Of course, Dori will be your healer and battery in this team. With her Electro application, she can trigger Quicken. Then, your Dendro DPS characters will trigger Spread for more damage. The good thing about having Dori as your Electro applicator in a Spread Team is that her Jinni doesn’t just randomly apply Electro to enemies. With the link connecting your active character and the Jinni, you have full control when you want to apply Electro and trigger Spread instead of mistakenly triggering Aggravate. To learn more about Quicken, Spread, and Aggravate, check our guide on Dendro Elemental Reactions here.

PHYSICAL TEAM

  • In this team, the primary Elemental Reaction you want to trigger is Superconduct to reduce enemies’ Physical RES. Eula will make a great Main DPS here as her abilities can lower enemies’ Physical RES while also increasing her Physical DMG.
  • For your Sub DPS, Rosaria is one of your best options. If you have C6 Rosaria, she is the best Sub-DPS for this team since this Constellation can reduce enemies’ Physical RES. You can also unlock the Cryo Elemental Resonance with Eula and Rosaria around.
  • To avoid getting interrupted by enemies, you may consider having a Shield Support here, such as Zhongli or any shielder you’re comfortable with.
  • Of course, Dori will be your healer and battery in this team. Her Electro abilities will also allow you to trigger Superconduct.

This effect can still be triggered if the character is not on the field. The Leaf of Consciousness effect cannot stack.

Favonius Greatsword

This weapon is a universal option for Dori. With its high Energy Recharge, you will be able to easily use Dori‘s Burst, which is her most important Talent. This can work for both our recommended Spread Team and Physical Team.

Forest Regalia

If your team focuses on Dendro Elemental Reactions, such as our recommended Spread Team, you can take advantage of this claymore’s passive to provide more Elemental Mastery for your DPS.

The Bell

Since Dori‘s healing scales with her HP, you may also use The Bell. However, if you want to take advantage of this claymore’s built-in shield and damage buff, you must let Dori stay on the battlefield for a couple of seconds. This will work well if you have C6 Dori, who can heal all party members using her Normal Attacks after using her Elemental Skill.

Recommended Artifact Sets and Stat Priority for Dori

ARTIFACT SETEFFECTS
Emblem of Severed Fate x2
Tenacity of the Millelith x2
– Energy Recharge +20%
– HP increased by 20%
Noblesse Oblige x4– Elemental Burst DMG +20%
– Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

The combination of Emblem of Severed Fate and Tenacity of the Millelith works well for Dori. She needs to use her Elemental Burst (costs 80 energy) most of the time, so she needs Energy Recharge from Emblem of Severed Fate x 2. For this Burst to have more effective healing, she needs the HP bonus from Tenacity of the Millelith x2.

On the other hand, Dori may have great healing and energy regeneration for another party member, but she cannot provide a buff that will enhance the damage potential of your DPS. With this in mind, you may try using Noblesse Oblige x4, provided she has enough Energy Recharge.

As for her artifact stat priority, we recommend the following:

  • Sands – HP% or Energy Recharge if you need more
  • Goblet – HP%
  • Circlet – HP% or Healing Bonus%

HP and Energy Recharge are important for Dori, so you may focus on them for your substats.

That’s everything you need to know about building Dori! We hope that our recommendations will help you along the way.
