How to Defeat Taroumaru in the Clash of Lone Blades

The mightiest warrior, Taroumaru, may not look the part but is actually quite tricky to fight against. Well, he isn’t called “the mightiest warrior” for nothing!

But we have some tips that may help you defeat the Ninja Shiba Inu.

First, it’s important to talk about Taroumaru’s Honed Techniques

The mightiest warrior, Taroumaru, can block all attacks when he is not himself attacking. Attacking Taroumaru or performing Perfect Parries against his attacks will cause Taroumaru’s Fury meter to fill up. Once it is full, Taroumaru will perform a powerful ramming attack, which can be Perfectly Parried to knock him down. While down, Taroumaru takes immensely increased DMG.

Tips:

  1. Willingly place yourself where Taroumaru is going to attack. Don’t dodge his attacks. Parry them to deal enough damage before the time limit ends.
  1. When the circle of Taroumaru’s AOE attacks starts to become full, press parry. While parrying, make sure that you face the center of the AOE attacks, or you will still get hit even with perfect timing.
  1. As for his Electro ranged slashes, still don’t dodge them. You can parry and reflect them back to him if you’re in a certain range.
