Genshin Impact: Are the PlayStation versions getting Cross-Save with the Epic Games Store?

With the announcement that miHoYo’s newest success will be arriving at Epic Games Store, fans started to ask themselves if Genshin Impact will finally receive a cross-save feature between the Sony consoles and PC, just like titles such as Epic Games’ Fortnite and Psyonix’s Rocket League.

According to the game’s official Twitter profile in English, as well as the game’s page on the Epic Games Store, Genshin Impact will be available on the Epic Games Store from June 9th, together with the release of the game’s upcoming version 1.6 ”Summertime Island Adventure”.

UPDATE: myHoYo mysteriously removed the Tweet where they made the official announcement of the new version of the game in English.

Are PlayStation Genshin Impact Players Finally Getting Cross-Save?
According to the games page on the Epic Games Store, the title will have cross-play between many platforms, but none was mentioned by name, That way, nothing was said about the existence of a cross-play function between the new PC version and the current PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game.
Even if no official announcement over the new function was made and keeping in mind that revealing the cross-save would be a great way to get even more players to try the Epic Games version of the game since a free PC client already exists, is not the time to lose hope, but to wait, as more details regarding the game on Epic Games Store will be revealed.
With that said, we can only hope that the new epic Games Store version will no face the same security problems the game’s current PC version faces since its launch in September of last year.

As we said above, Genshin Impact’s version 1.6 will be released on June 9th, featuring both a Klee rerun banner, the debut of the game’s new 5-star Kazuha, new events, outfits, a limited-time new region, new bosses, quests, and much more.
Right now, players can take part in the second phase of the game’s current version 1.5 ”Beneath the Light of Jadeite” and try to pull for its featured 5-star Eula and her featured weapon, the 5-star Claymore Song of the Broken Pines.
Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices – Android and iOS – and for PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher. A version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is also reportedly in development.
