Genshin Impact and Google Play collab – How to participate

Genshin Impact Yalda Candies Spoiler Walkthrough

Genshin Impact’s popularity seems to know no bounds. On June 30th, Mihoyo announced a new collaboration event with Google Play. This new Genshin Impact collab event will be active from July 1 to September 30, and unlike their previous team up with KFC, it’s available worldwide.

To participate, you must buy a Google Play gift card. These can be bought online or in a physical store. Then, redeem its code in the Google Play app on your phone. Tap Profile > Redeem and type your code. After that, you must log in on your Genshin Impact account to receive your rewards via in-game mail.

The event is currently available only for mobile players. Participants have until October 30 to redeem their code. For more official information, you can visit Hoyolab’s official event page.

The rewards vary according to the gift card you bought. The more expensive the card, the more rewards you get. The most exciting ones are the new Googol furniture and the Googol name card. User zhangs from the Hoyolab forum provided us with the reward of each of the cards, which are the following:

Surprise Bundle 1:

Hero’s Wit – 10

Mystic Enhancement Ore – 10

Mondstadt Hash Brown – 5

Surprise Bundle 2:

Also note that each of the codes can only be redeemed once, and only one per account. And also, you don’t need to actually spend the credits you get from the cards. Just redeeming them is enough (unless you really need that Jean skin or a Welkin Moon).

We don’t know if the collab will be available for the console players, but we can hope that soon they’ll also be able to participate in this one and also on the next possible Genshin Impact collab.
