Genshin Impact 3.2: Beta Nahida animations and skills showcase

The newest update in Genshin Impact, “King Deshret and the Three Magi”, has just arrived, which also means the beginning of the next Beta test for the game. In other words, it’s time for leaks! This time, we get to see some of the Nahida animations and skills firsthand, alongside her revealed Splash Art.
Yesterday we got our first look at her Elemental Skill, which works very similarly to the previous Fayz Trials gameplay in the 3.0 version. For those who don’t know about it, its gameplay revolved around targeting enemies with a camera during battle, which would usually one shot most of them.
While the Dendro Archon might not be able to stop time with her skill, it’s still interesting that they used an event to introduce players to a new character’s mechanic. And although this is something new and interesting, her main features might still be tied to her Burst, which we’ll showcase below.

Videos were provided by Sagiri on Twitter, the same leaker who initially showcased her camera-like Skill. The original source is said to be unknown, though. Also, based on his other tweets, we can assume that the original beta tester got banned for leaking those animations. Pay your respects to the warrior.

Without further ado, let’s start with her Normal Attacks. You’ll notice in all of the Nahida animations and skills that, just like Klee, she’s pretty much a young girl having fun while fighting giant monsters.
Just like Yae Miko, she doesn’t show her catalyst during her combos, which is a nice touch. After all, she’s just a cute girl doing cute things.

If that wholesome moment still isn’t enough to make you roll for her, here’s her Burst animation, which seems to have an interesting range.
While the video clearly lacks in quality, we can see that calling it “huge” would still be an insult. The whole room was covered by it, and if this ends up being the actual range for the skill, it could easily cover a whole Spiral Abyss floor with ease. And no flower in sight, just as Ubatcha has previously said.

Nahida’s kit
As this article is being written, we don’t have any accurate descriptions of its effects either. We can see that her Burst is a buff, but there has been some discrepancy on what actually benefits from it.
One of the previously given descriptions mentioned buffs depending on the element applied after getting the Burst out in the field.
Mentions to the critical scalings were made all across the board, some of them mentioning it to be tied to her Burst, but we’ll only be able to confirm it later in the Beta.
We still haven’t seen anything on her running animation. There were some rumors about her getting an alternate sprint instead of having the regular child pose while sprinting, but this was later dismissed. It doesn’t take out the possibility of her having an exclusive animation, though.
All things considered, all of the Nahida animations and skills are very lively and unique, just as we could expect from an Archon. We’re hoping to see more of it as the beta progresses and, eventually, when she’s finally out in the live servers.
