Genshin Impact 2.7 Yelan’s Banner: Release Date and Time

Genshin Impact’s Version 2.7 is finally arriving after indefinite delays. Along with the latest version is the Wish banner of the newest playable character Yelan, and Yelan‘s banner will be available in just a few hours.

Yup, Kamisato Ayaka’s infamous banner rerun is ending soon, and the newest addition to the game will finally be here!

When will Version 2.7 be released?

The official Twitter account of Genshin Impact announced that the maintenance for the said patch will begin at 6AM (UTC+8) of 31 May 2022. Moreover, this maintenance is expected to run for 5 hours.

V2.7 Update Notice

Dear Travelers,

V2.7 update maintenance is expected to start at 05/31 6AM (UTC+8) and is expected to be done within 5 hours. The duration of V2.7 is expected to be 6 weeks, and V2.8 is expected to be updated on 07/13.

Therefore, players can expect to be able to try pulling for Yelan by 11 AM (UTC+8) on the same date.

What is in Yelan’s Banner?

The 1st Phase of Version 2.7 will feature Yelan’s limited-time Event Wish Banner called Discerner of Enigmas.

Apart from Yelan‘s drop-rate boost, the banner will also increase the drop rate of the following 4-star characters:

  • Yanfei – Pyro (Catalyst)
  • Noelle – Geo (Claymore)
  • Barbara – Hydro (Catalyst)

Moreover, Xiao’s banner Invitation to Mundane Life will have a rerun and will also be made available.

What is in Yelan’s Weapon Banner?

As was the case for previous 5-star characters, Yelan will also have a signature weapon. This weapon is called Aqua Simulacra and will have a boosted drop rate on the Event Wish Epitome Invocation. This Wish Event will also feature Xiao’s signature weapon called Primordial Jade Winged-Spear.
