The Genshin Impact 2.3 version brought us some spicy new content, including some new cooking recipes. Alongside the specialties for the new characters Gorou and Arataki Itto, we also have new dishes available to buy.

Find out where you can get them and which effects those new dishes can give you when adventuring through the open world of Teyvat!

New cooking recipes in Genshin Impact

All of the new recipes can be bought at Shimura’s in Inazuma, right in front of Katheryne. Just talk with the store owner and buy them (and any other recipe you might have missed). All of them cost exactly 5000 mora (or 4500 with reputation level discount), so don’t worry.

Meet all of those new dishes and their effects here:

Unagi Chazuke

Increases all party members’ Healing Bonus by 17%

Five Pickled Treasures

Restores 85 Stamina

Sakura Shrimp Crackers

Increases all party members’ HP by 22% for 300 seconds

And, of course, there are also the specialty foods for the new characters, Arataki Itto and Gorou. You have a chance of obtaining them when cooking specific dishes with said characters.

Way of the Strong

Revives a character and restores 15% of Max HP, then restores an additional 550 HP.

Arataki Itto’s specific food. Obtained from cooking the Mixed Yakisoba dish (also available from Shimura’s).

Victorious Legend

Restores 40% of Max HP and an additional 2,350 HP to the selected character

Gorou’s specific food, which you’ll get from the Tonkotsu Ramen (you guessed it, Shimura’s).

Note that Way of the Strong and Victorious Legend, while featured in Genshin 2.3 patch notes as new cooking recipes, are not actually available in the game until the next banner, when Itto and Gorou will finally be obtainable.
