Genshin Impact 2.1 leaks: New areas, Hydro Hypostasis and Fishing system
The leaks for the 2.1 version of Genshin Impact are already surfacing, giving us more and more information about all the content that’s coming to the game in the next. We have new information about new systems, a new boss and the new areas to be found on the 2.1 version.
New areas introduced in 2.1
According to the leaker anonsbelle on Twitter, more of the Inazuma islands will be made available during the next update. This will include the Watatsumi Island, an spiral-like island with a purple coloration in its center.
Anonsbelle also talked about the Seirai Island, a smaller island that seems to be placed on the borders of the map.

Usually known for her renders, Anonsbelle is close to the known leaker abc64, and other people also known for giving reliable leaks (such as the baizhumains account) also retwitted the post, so we can assume this to be reliable.
Also, while not giving any more information, Anonsbelle announced the introduction of a new Hydro Hypostasis, which will have the same ability of summoning enemies like the Oceanid, and a new Fishing system.
We can speculate that this new Hydro Hypostasis will drop the required items for Kokomi, while the fishing system may help people get ingredients for some of the recipes, since fish and crabs are sometimes a pain to find.

We still need more information to make conclusions, but by the recent leaks, we can expect that the new areas introduced by the 2.1 version will expand even more on the new incredible systems that we got on Inazuma.
Genshin Impact is in the first week of its 2.0 version, “The Immortal God and the Eternal Euthymia”, and introduces new characters, new weapons and an entire new region for exploration, along with many new systems and enemies.
