During the Genshin Impact 2.1 version Livestream, we had our first official look at Aloy with a quick gameplay video. The main character from Horizon Zero Dawn will be Genshin Impact’s first crossover character.

Aloy was revealed during the start of the 2.0 version. She will be featured as a Cryo/Bow 5-star character, and will be given for free for PS4 and PS5 players during the 2.1 version, “Floating World Under the Moonlight”, alongside her exclusive Bow. For PC and mobile players, she will be distributed during the 2.2 update.

She previously had a leak video, showcasing her Burst alongside some interactions with Anemo, but this is the first time miHoYo officially showed her in-game.

In this first official gameplay trailer, we can see Aloy using her skills against field enemies. Different from her first leaked video, her textures are better implemented, and she looks a lot better than before. The quick trailer gives some focus to her Burst.

When she equips her signature bow, the Predator, she gets an extra attack bonus, similar to how the Sword of Descension works in consoles. To claim her, players just need to be at Adventure Rank 20 or higher and login in the console.

She will be the first character with no constellations, and while this may look daunting, she should be strong enough to hold her own without them. She’s also free, so it will be a good addiction for teams who needed an extra Cryo applier.

Aloy will be available during the 2.1 version, and while we approach the end of the current version, “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”, players should be ready to explore the next Inazuma areas, as well as fight the new enemies showcased in the trailer.

You can play Genshin Impact for free on mobile devices, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and Pcs on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
