Genshin Impact 2.0: What’s the Best 4-Star Sword for Ayaka?

Ayaka Weapon

The release date of Genshin Impact’s upcoming version 2.0 ”The Immortal God and the Eternal Euthymia” is already less than a week away, and fans are already gearing up for the arrival of its new characters, Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu.

But not all players have the luck, or the resources to be able to score a 5-star weapon for their desired character.

With that in mind, we decided to talk about which of the game’s current and upcoming 4-star weapons is best suited for Kamisato Ayaka, the lady of the Kamisato House, and the star of the first banner of the game’s upcoming version 2.0, set to premiere on July 21st.

According to leaks, as well as official reveals, Ayaka will be a main DPS focused on dealing high amounts of Cryo Damage, made possible by her Elemental Skill, Burst, and by her dash skill, which allows her to coat her weapon with Cryo after dashing. Not only that, but she will also have a CRIT Damage innate stat, which will allow you to prioritize CRIT Rate when picking up her artifacts.

  • To be able to make full use of her set, you will need a weapon that will both increase her base ATK, as well as her overall damage.

What’s the Best 4-Star Sword for Ayaka?

With that said, between all the 4-star swords available in the game, The Black Sword, one of the Battle Pass exclusive weapons present in the game, is, in our opinion, the best 4-star weapon for her, thanks to its CRIT Rate substat and passive, which increases the damage dealt by normal and charged attacks by 20% – at zero refinement. The weapon also increases her survivability by converting overall ATK into health once every 5 seconds.

With The Black Sword, players can reach high levels of CRIT Rate and DMG more easily, increasing Ayaka’s overall damage when on the field, but don’t expect the weapon to deal as much damage as 5-star weapons, at least on zero refinement, since even with its passive, its overall ATK, which caps at 510, is still considerably lower than that of the 5-star swords.
