Genshin Impact 2.0: The Raiden Shogun banner is finally here

Nearing the next version release, the Limited Character Banner for Baal, the Raiden Shogun of Inazuma was officially released by miHoYo. This will be the opening banner of the 2.1 version, “Floating World Under the Moonlight”.

The banner will have the almighty ruler of Inazuma, the Raiden Shogun, as the featured 5-star character, and the rate-up 4-star characters will be Xiangling, Sucrose and her loyal general Kujou Sara.

Alongside the main banner, the Limited Weapon Banner was also revealed. It will feature the Shogun’s signature weapon, the Engulfing Lighting polearm and the return of The Unforged claymore.

We’ll also have rate-ups for the 4-star weapons The Widsith, Sacrificial Bow, The Bell, Lion’s Roar and Favonius Lance. Note that you can also get characters from the Weapon Banner.

The Raiden Shogun will be a polearm sub DPS focused on Energy Recharge. She gains Electro Damage the more ER she has, similar to Mona, and all of her abilities are focused on making your team unleash their Elemental Bursts as fast as possible.

And with all that, she will wield her tachi after using her own Burst, changing completely her normal attacks just like Childe’s Elemental Skill does, and unleashing a huge Electro damage AoE.

She will be an incredible addition to any team, as she can do a lot of things. Except making dinner, since she is the only character who literally cannot cook. Gordon Ramsey would be ashamed.

The reveal of the banners comes a few days after the story teaser for Baal was made public. The teaser shows Baal alongside her friends, disappearing one after the other. This loss ends up being the reason like acts ruthlessly as she does today.

You can play Genshin Impact for free on mobile devices (Android and iOS), PCs through both the miHoYo launcher or the Epic Games Store launcher, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. A Nintendo Switch version is stated to be in development.
