To help players gather more resources for their new characters, the Ley Line Overflow is back, being the last event of the 2.0 version of Genshin Impact.

An old friend of veteran players, the event allows you to receive double the rewards from any Ley Lines you complete by using only the regular amount of Resin. You get the rewards of using a Condensed Resin, but you’re only spending the usual 20.

The official announcement for the event contains more details. The event is currently live, and will take place from August 23 to August 30, a whole week of double material farming.

How to participate in the Ley Line Overflow event

This is the simplest event possible. You just need to visit a Ley Line Outcrop in any desired place and engage it. After defeating the enemies as usual, use your Original Resin to get your rewards and you’ll get double the bounty. This is great to get some extra Mora and Exp books, which are always required.

Remember the event only affects Original Resin, so any Condensed Resin used in Ley Lines will get you the same things you would get for spending 20 Resin.

Also, the event is limited to 3 times a day, so you can spend up to 60 Original Resin per day, each day of the week, in order to get 120 worth of prizes.

This is a simple and quick event that allows us to save up more resources. The timing couldn’t be better, since we’ll receive 4 new characters in the next update, and players are surely looking for more and more resources for leveling them.

Genshin Impact is currently at the end of the 2.0 version, “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”, which brought us the long-awaited Inazuma region. And along with it, many new characters, enemies, puzzles and areas to explore.
