Genshin Impact 2.0: Ayaka and Yoimiya to Star on the Version’s First Two Banners

Today, during the Special Program focused on the upcoming version 2.0 of Genshin Impact, miHoYo revealed the 5-star’s which will star on the new version’s upcoming banners.

As it was revealed in the Special Program, and to no one’s surprise, the game’s new 5-star characters Ayaka and Yoimiya will be the stars of the upcoming version’s first and second character featured banners, with Ayaka starring on the first and Yoimiya starring on the second, confirming previously released leaks by known leaker @lumie_lumie

The game’s upcoming 4-star, the Anemo Claymore wielder, Sayu, will also be featured in the version’s second banner.

According to known leaker Lumie, Ayaka’s banner will be released on July 21, together with the release of the new version. The second banner’s release date was not revealed yet.  

[UPDATE] The leaked release date was confirmed today by mihoYo, in a post in the PlayStation Blog.

Genshin Impact 2.0: Meet Ayaka and Yoimiya

Ayaka is the heir of the prestigious Kamisato House and a talented swordswoman. She will be a Cryo Sword user and an Elemental DPS, focused on dealing high Elemental Damage and enabling many reactions.

Yoimiya is Inazuma’s best pyrotechnician and the current owner of Naganohara Fireworks. Also known as the Queen of the Summer Festival, she will be an Elemental DPS focused on increasing her normal attacks overall damage and triggering high damaging reactions.

You can take part in Genshin Impact’s version 1.6 right now, which features the character banner of Kaedehara Kazuha, as well as his featured weapon banner, a new Archon quest, and much more. 

Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices – Android and iOS – and for PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher and, since June 9th, in the Epic Games Store. A version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is also reportedly in development.
