Genshin Impact 1.6: Will Kazuha be a Support or a DPS?

There are a lot of Genshin Impact 1.6 leaks out there and we’re here to talk about the new 5-Star character that’s in the works: Kazuha Kiryu. More importantly, we’re going to talk about whether Kazuha is going to be a Support or a DPS.

Who Actually Is Kazuha, Though? 

At the moment, we don’t know everything we could know about Kazuha… But we do know quite a lot.

According to Twitter user @dimbreath, Kazuha is a ronin who currently lives and travels together with the Crux Fleet of Liyue, a legendary fleet famous for the adventures of its Captain, Beidou.

Elemental Skill, and Burst 

According to leaks revealed on Honey impact, Kazuha’s Elemental Skill, Chihayafuru, will consist in launching himself, and its opponents up in the air, following up bu a Anemo infused plunge attack;

His Elemental Burst, Manyou no Ittou, on the other hand, will be focused on dealing a huge amount of Anemo damage in an AoE, after a slash of his sword. The move will create a field imbued with the elemental, dealing damage to opponents over time, and enabling elemental reactions.

Passive Talents and Constellations 

According to information revealed by Honey impact, Kazuha will be a 5-star Anemo character focused on enabling and empowering reactions. He will also have an Elemental Mastery sub-stat.

His Passive talents will be focused on increasing the reaction damage of the field created by his Elemental Burst by 200%, and on increasing his teammate’s overall damage bonus by 0.03 of every one of his Elemental Mastey.

His constellations on the other hand will also focus on increasing the availability of his Elemental Skill, and in increasing the Elemental Mastery of the party’s main DPS. Increasing its reaction damage.

Its sixth constellation takes things a step further, giving him the ability to infuse his weapon with Anemo, and converting his Elemental Mastery total in damage.

Will Kazuha be a Support or a DPS? 

As we can see above, It seems like Kazuha will break the DPS streak, after the last 4 new 5 -star characters were DPS focused, with Ganyu on version 1.3, Xiao, and Hu Tao on 1.4, and Eula in the upcoming version 1.5.

Kazuha seems to be a character-focused on supporting the composition, being a good enabler, capable of increasing the elemental damage of his teammates, and creating opportunities for Swirl reactions on the field.

Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices – Android, iOS – and PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher.

A native version for the game for the PlayStation 5 is coming together with the new version and will feature improved graphics, framerate, and faster loading times. A new version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is also reportedly in development.

Kazuha is expected to premiere on Genshin Impact’s version 1.6 first banner, as its featured 5-star character. Will you pull for him?
