Genshin Impact 1.5: Everything revealed in the Special Program

Today, miHoYo aired the Special Program focused on the new and upcoming version 1.5 of Genshin Impact, which will be called “Beneath the Light of Jadeite.”

To begin, you can check the new version’s official trailer below, featuring a little bit of everything that was revealed in the stream, such as the new quests, hangouts, characters, and more.
Banners
On the stream, it was revealed that Zhongli will be the featured 5-star on the version’s first banner, its second one will feature Eula, as its featured 5-star.
The Zhongli rerun banner will be released together with the new version, on April 28.
More About Eula and Yanfei
The new stream also officially revealed two new playable characters, which will make their debut in the game’s new version.
Eula is the current Captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company. She will be a 5-star Cryo claymore wielder and will be focused on dealing high amounts of Physical Damage and enabling reactions.

Yanfei is a legal advisor currently operating on Liyue Harbor.
She will be a 4-star Pyro catalyst wielder and will be focused on dealing high amounts of elemental damage, with her talents and constellations being focused on increasing her charged attack overall damage, and availability.

The New Teapot System
The game’s new housing system, called ”Serenitea Pot”, was also officially revealed during the stream.
On it, players will be able to customize their own personal realms as they wish, with furniture, pets, and much, much more.
As players increase their trust ranks, they will receive primogems, and more features to its building system.
Travelers will also be able to visit other players realms.
Two New Artifact Sets and a New Weapon
The new stream also confirmed the two already leaked artifact sets, Pale Flame, and Tenacity of the Millelith. The already leaked 5-star weapon song of the Broken Pines was also officially announced.
The new artifacts will be available in the new domain, located on the frontier between Liyue, and Mondstadt.
New Bosses
The three already leaked bosses, Azhdaha, Cryo Hypostasis, and Abyss Lector, were also officially confirmed.
Azhdaha
Azhdaha will be part of Zhongl’s second arc and will become a weekly boss after the competition of the character quest.
Cryo Hypostasis
The new Cryo Hypostasis will be located in Dragonspine and will give Travelers one of the necessary ascension materials to upgrade Eula.
Abyss Lector
The Abyss Lector was also officially announced. He will make use of Electro Attacks to drain your energy and cause damage.
New Hangouts
Two new hangout events were also announced. Featuring the second chapter of Noelle’s hangout, and a new one featuring Diona.
New Events
A few new special events were also revealed. Check them out below:
Energy Amplifier
During the event, Travelers will make use of a new mechanic to collect Fractured Fragments across Teyvat. Which can be used to give your characters a series of buffs, and increase your team.
Later, travelers will be able to take on different domains and face challenges as they battle for many rewards. One of the event’s best rewards will be the chance to add Diona to your team.
Battlefront: Misty Dungeon
At this event, players will take on team trials, for the chance to win various rewards. To win the trails, players need to activate all the runes within the time limit, to win mora, primogems, and much more.
Mimi Tomo
On it, players need to team up with Ella Musk to find the Unusual Hilichurl. To do that, they will need to follow a specific handbook to complete the task.
The event will reward players with furniture for the Teapot.
Windtrace
On Windtrace, players will take part in a game of hide and seek with their friends, as one player, the Hunter, needs to get all of the others, the Rebels, in a series of zones.
A Change in the Resin System
The new version will also change the cost of the game’s first three weekly bosses was reduced from 60 to 30 Resin. Answering the community feedback.

A First Look at Inazuma, and Baal?
At the end of the Stream, the first glimpses of the game’s new region, Inazuma, were shown.

The Chinese version of the stream also had the presence of a new character, which Hokai Impact fans may recognize. Could she be Baal, the Electro Archon?

Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices – Android, iOS – and PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher.
A native version for the game for the PlayStation 5 is coming together with the new version and will feature improved graphics, framerate, and faster loading times. A new version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is also reportedly in development.
