Recommended Characters

As Shenhe’s signature weapon, Calamity Queller is easily one, if not her best option. This Cryo support character, who buffs units based on her ATK, benefits from the high ATK stat that this polearm provides. In fact, Calamity Queller has the highest base ATK among all existing polearms in Genshin Impact.

Moreover, this polearm’s passive effect further increases Shenhe’s ATK stat after using her Elemental Skill. And since Shenhe is conventionally used as an off-field unit, Calamity Queller has a mechanic that doubles the passive effect whenever she is switched out. This way, the buff she provides for the team is significantly increased.

Of course, this polearm doesn’t only work for Shenhe. With everything that has been mentioned, this weapon also works well for most DPS characters, whether on-field or off-field.

While Calamity Queller shines even better for off-field DPS units because of its passive, it doesn’t change the fact that this weapon also provides an incredible damage increase for on-field DPS units. For instance, the 5-star Anemo character Xiao can easily take advantage of the ATK and Elemental DMG bonus that this weapon provides.

Calamity Queller also works for the 4-star Pyro character Xiangling, the 4-star Cyo character Rosaria, and the 5-star Electro character Raiden Shogun.
