Genshin Impact 2.8: By whose hand is written the fate of all solution

by whose hand is written the fate of all puzzle genshin impact

It turns out that there are a lot of Night Raven puzzles in Genshin Impact 2.8, so we’re back again, this time with a ‘By whose hand is written the fate of all’ solution.

By whose hand is written the fate of all solution

The answer to the ‘By whose hand is written the fate of all’ night raven riddle is actually the Thief raven present in the centre of the play, standing between all of the other ravens. This may come as a bit of a surprise to Genshin Impact players who tried this puzzle because the logical answer would be the director raven.

In this case though, the puzzle asks for who has ‘written’ the fate of all, and not who is in control of what is going, as a director would be. As the Thief raven corrects the guard on his line, he is effectively writing something he must do, or ‘writing his fate’ if we want to dramatically overstate it.

I know other players, myself included, have absolutely made the mistake of selecting the director raven here. It’s possible that the implication might have been that the Thief actually wrote the lines and the play, or maybe that it’s a case of a bad translation making it less clear as to who the answer actually is meant to be.

Alternatively, the puzzle could just be referring to the fact he told another member of the cast his line, and that might be all there is to it. In that case though, perhaps the director should have done as a cameraman instead, to avoid confusion.
