Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl is a beetle-fighting event in Genshin Impact. During this event, you will be experiencing one of the one and “oni” Arataki Itto’s favorite pastimes!
While seeing typically sedentary Onikabutos in action can be exciting, the art of beetle fighting is something that you first need to get familiar with. With this, here’s everything you need to know about the Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl Event!
How to unlock the Beetle Brawl Event
Below are the prerequisites for unlocking the Almighty Arataki Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Beetle Brawl Event:
- Reach at least Adventure Rank 30
- Complete Chaper 2 Act 1 Archon Quest – Ritou Escape Plan
Ritou Escape Plan is one of the earliest quests in Inazuma, so if you are already in the archipelago, chances are you have already completed this quest which involves Hiiragi Chisato.
On the other hand, it is highly recommended to complete the Perilous Trail Quest for the best experience. If you recall the quest where you meet Itto, Kuki Shinobu, Yanfei, and Yelan in the Chasm, then you’re good to go. Otherwise, you might consider participating in the event via the “Quick Start” button on the event page.

How to play the Beetle Brawl Event
The goal of the Beetle Brawl Event is to defeat your opponent’s Onikabuto by controlling an Onikabuto of your own. There are different stages during this event and each has different modes including Friendly Spar mode, Honed Will mode, and Fanatic Passion difficulty.

In order to win, you must be able to understand how to control your Onikabuto in the Beetle Brawl Event. Below are the commands:
- Get closer to the opponent by tapping on the forward button. This will NOT deal damage.
- Move back by tapping on the back button. You can use this for dodging incoming attacks.
- Charge your Onikabuto’s energy by holding down the forward button. After charging, the Onikabuto will rush forward and deal damage to the enemy upon contact. The charging time will affect the stamina consumed, the distance traveled, and the damage dealt. Reaching the opponent’s exact location after charging will trigger a piercing strike that deals greater damage.
