Ayaka now best selling Genshin banner after 2.6 rerun extension

Genshin Impact Ayaka Rerun dethrones Raiden Shogun as the most profitable and popular banner

Following the delay of patch 2.7 and her extended 2.6 banner duration, Ayak is now the best selling Genshin character banner.

The best selling Genshin Impact banner is now Ayaka, as of V2.7

Previously held by the Raiden Shogun and Kokomi double rerun banner, the extended Ayaka rerun of patch 2.6 has taken the lead for best selling Genshin character banner in the history of Genshin Impact, according to Genshin Labs data for character’s total revenue.

While Raiden Shogun previously held both the 2nd and 1st place with her original run and her rerun alongside Kokomi respectively, she has now been dethroned by the extended Ayaka rerun of patch 2.6, the latest stats reveal. This leaves Raiden demoted to 2nd and 3rd place, with her vassal Ayaka now taking the lead.

While Ayaka’s extended banner was the subject of a lot of memes during it – particularly with comparisons to Raiden Ei’s pursuit of eternity – stealing Raiden Shoguns tricks and employing eternity, or at least an attempt at it, in her own banner has in fact managed to successfully steal some of her glory and grant Ayaka the coveted best selling Genshin banner slot.

The extended banner for Ayaka pushed her into the best selling Genshin banner of all time title, with a record $35.9 million made with her rerun. This will likely be argued greatly by people who still see Raiden as the rightful holder of the title, given she’s not only done it before but has done so twice but without the advantage of an extended banner, which is a reasonable point.

These stats come from Genshin Labs, which produces a regularly updated Genshin Impact Revenue chart, showing the top-grossing banners for the iOS version of the game in China. Whether this is accurate for other versions and regions is unclear, but it is one of the very few available hard statistics on sales for Genshin Impact and is thus generally accepted as an accurate source to rely on.

We’ll now have to wait for Raiden Shogun banner number three to see if she’ll return to the throne with another top-selling banner, or if Ayaka and her 240-day banner glitch advantage is simply too strong for the previous Archon of banner sales.

Of course, it’s always possible that someone else takes the lead from the both of them, and with a Kazuha rerun upcoming, very soon, it’s entirely possible that Ayaka won’t hold the crown of best-selling banner for much longer in Genshin Impact.

What do you think, will Genshin get a new best seller featured banner in patch 2.8, or will the extended 2.6 Ayaka banner reign supreme for a while longer?
