At the beginning of Chapter 3 Season 2, Fortnite’s building mechanic has been removed. Since then, the game has focused more on battles and gunplay. And this change was welcomed by many players.

However, the building mechanic was also speculated to return on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, as some leakers said that it will only be gone for nine days.

Now that the countdown is almost over, data miner iFireMonkey reminds fans in a tweet regarding the mechanic’s return tomorrow, saying:

“As a reminder tomorrow building is set to be re-enabled in Fortnite.”

He also added that having a No-Build mode is a possibility, saying:

“It’s uncertain if Epic will keep a No Build mode enabled as a side set of playlists tomorrow but with the popularity of building being disabled it seems like a possibility.”

It can be recalled that last week, prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX revealed that the No Build modes could become permanent parts of the game alongside regular modes with building enabled.

If this happens, players who like building and those who do not will no longer have to argue about the inclusion of this mechanic. It will definitely be more inclusive for players to enjoy the game based on their preferences.

Fortnite chapter 3 season 2 was released on March 20th, 2022. The game is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
