Fortnite: What are Funding Stations?

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has had a lot going on since its release. From new skins to the removal of building and its eventual return, players can surely expect more features and surprises in the future.

In this season, a war between two factions–IO and The Seven—takes place. And as players join up with The Seven, they must fuel the faction’s different initiatives by funding through various Funding Stations located across the map.

To provide funds and for The Seven to create better weapons, players can use gold bars at different Funding Stations. This way, Epic Games would eventually bring into the game weapons or other items whose funding requirements are met.

In other words, this is an opportunity for players to express their opinions about the game’s future content.

For instance, the first Funding Station at the beginning of the new season was for the Armored Bus, and the latest funding station was for the weapons MK-Seven and Combat AR

The latest one did not last a full day before Epic Games temporarily disabled it for unknown reasons. However, according to Fortnite Status, it has recently been brought back to the game, saying:

“The Combat AR vs MK-7 Vote funding stations have now been re-enabled.”
