As we enter the final weeks of Fortnites Chapter 3 Season 3 ‘Vibin’, players are in for a treat once they descend from the Battle Bus with the new v21.51 update, as we embark on the quest to fight fire with fire. Things are about to get really hot!

The Patch notes bring with them new weapons, new purchase options for weapons, and themed quests for that all-important XP to help players complete their battle pass.

Let’s take a look below at all the details from the latest v21.51 patch notes.

V21.51 Patch Notes – Fight fire with fire

Fortnite’s previous update saw the unvaulting of the Suppressed Assault Rifle, Suppressed SMG, Shadow Bomb, and Shield Bubble during the Shadow of Phantasm week. And now things are heating up in Fire with Fire Week as the Season comes to a close.

Fire with Fire Week begins today, September 7, 2022, at 9:00 am ET (2 pm UK time), and ends September 13, 2022, at 9:00 am ET (2 pm UK time).

During this time, players will see the unvaulting of the popular Chapter 2 Season 6 Primal Flame Bow, and Dragons Breath Shotgun (however these will not be available in competitive game modes).

There will be an increased spawn rate of Firefly jars, which are notorious for damaging builds from the ground up and dealing damage to players, and Chug Cannons are to be made more widely available to players, which could be essential to quickly deal with all of the fire damage!

Players will also receive a new series of quests to incorporate the use of all 4 items, giving them that all-important XP boost as we near the end of the Vibin Season.

V21.51 – The Patch Notes

Battle Royale fixes:

• Health & shield bar doesn’t show correct values

– We’re aware that the health & shield bar may not correspond to actual numerical values after taking damage.

• Driving a vehicle can sometimes clip under the map when impacting the ground

Creative fixes v21.51:

• The Prop Manipulator may stop functioning after Round 1 or in between rounds

– The Prop manipulator may stop functioning correctly after the first round or in between rounds. If it is set to invisible, it may also become visible on other rounds.

• Grapple Gloves can interact with Mutator Zones

– Grapple Gloves can interact with Mutator Zones in Creative Islands.

Save the World fixes:

• Player running animations

– We’re investigating an issue that is causing players’ animations to appear as gliding and rotating when running

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Android. Chapter 3 Season 4 is scheduled to begin on September 18, 2022.
