Fortnite Trinity Challenge – How to get the Trinity Trooper Skin for free

Everyone loves a freebie right? Well, Epic Games has a new skin on offer, the Trinity Trooper, for taking part in the Fortnite Trinity Challenge tournament.

This time, hosted by the mobile phone carrier Three/WINDTRE to celebrate their integration of 3Pay in Fortnite, a way for customers in the UK to use their Three mobile phones to purchase v-bucks and other in-store items, this Trios tournament will see players competing to win the Trinity Trooper Skin.

The skin, which includes 2 styles, will be available to purchase at a later date in the item shop.

The Fortnite Trinity Challenge is set to take place on Sunday, March 14, 2021, from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm GMT for players in the EU server region.

How do I get the skin?

There are no set amount of points needed to be able to win the free Trinity Trooper Skin, however, the skin will only be awarded to the players who rank in the top 3,333 scoring players.

Meaning that like other tournaments in the past, each elimination you manage to get, how long you can survive and where you place, and of course, the all-important Victory Royale, will award you a set number of points. These points will then be totalled up, with the highest scoring 3,333 teams winning the Trinity Trooper Skin.

The Tournament will last for 3 hours, giving you enough time to compete in up to 10 games.

All is not lost for those players who don’t rank within the top 3,333.

For players who play at least 5 matches during this tournament, they will be gifted the Trinity Impact and Trinity Overload Emoticons for free. So even if you don’t manage to get any kills, or the Victory Royale, you will still be given a prize for participating. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

So jump into lobby, grab your team, hop on board the Battle Bus, and be ready to compete for the Victory Royale, and of course, the Trinity Trooper Skin.
