Fortnite Season 5 Week 8 challenges are upon us, and we have even more themed challenges this week for about the third or fourth week in a row. Below, we’ll go into detail on each one and what exactly needs to be done to complete it.

Once again we have two sets of Epic Challenges to complete and then a set of repetitive Legendary Challenges that require you to eat quantities of fish.

The first set has a theme relating to the farms outside of Colossal Coliseum: Steel Farm, Sunflower Farm and The Orchard Farmers Market.

  • Stage 1: Destroy apple and tomato produce boxes at The Orchard Farmers Market – 3 produce boxes
  • Stage 2: Drive a car through the corn field at Steel Farm
  • Stage 3: Deliver a truck to Sunflower’s Farm

Destroy Produce Boxes

For destroying produce boxes, you’re going to need to go to The Orchard Farmers Market specifically. These are the boxes you find that aren’t searchable that have food such as tomatoes or lettuce in them.

You can find these produce boxes inside the building and on the counters in the front of the building, facing Pizza Pete’s.

Simply destroy 3 of these produce boxes at The Orchard Farmers Market with your pickaxe and the challenge will be complete.

Drive a Car Through Corn Field at Steel Farm

For this part of the challenge you’re going to need to grab a car and drive it through the corn field located at Steel Farm.

Steel Farm is not too far from the previous challenge location: The Orchard Farmers Market.

As others are also trying to complete this challenge right now, it may be best to grab a vehicle at the local gas station to ensure you’re the one to complete it.

As I’ve experienced, you only need to destroy at least one patch of corn so even if someone has gotten there before you, it may still be completed.

Drive a Truck to Sunflower’s Farm

For this part of the challenge you are going to specifically need a pickup truck.

Simply find a pickup truck anywhere on the map and bring it the farm located behind The Orchard Farmers Market and the challenge will be complete.

If you’re lucky, you may even find a pickup truck parked outside of Pizza Pete’s and you can just drive it across the street and complete the challenge.

That’ll be it for this set of Epic Challenges, now onto the remaining more random, but simple challenges.

This second set doesn’t seem as heavily themed as the previous set. This set comes off as more of an accolades completion list, at most.

  • Stage 1: Pistol Damage – 250 damage
  • Stage 2: Collect Gold Bars – 500 Bars
  • Stage 3: Blow up a gas pump – 1 gas pump
  • Stage 4: Glide a distance – 3,500 meters

These should need no guide but if you want to complete the gliding stage of this challenge quickly, you may want to just glide the entire way off the bus launch.

Fortnite Week 8 Legendary Challenges

Apparently for this part of the challenges Tomatohead wants you to help him with a new line of “nautical pies” so you’re going to need to consume fish for a variety of reasons.

This sounds a little misleading with the new NPCs added to the game but worry not, these don’t require you to talk to any NPCs. Tomatohead is just the character associated with these challenges.

Simply consume 5 stages worth of fish and this entire line of Legendary Challenges will be completed.

  • Eat Fish – Consume 10 Fish
  • Eat Fish – Consume 20 Fish
  • Eat Fish – Consume 30 Fish
  • Eat Fish – Consume 40 Fish
  • Eat Fish – Consume 50 Fish

It should be noted that once you finish one set of this challenge the next will become unlocked in-game. So if you can find the chance to eat 50 Fish in one game, you can complete this entirely.

So get your fishing pole and your taste buds ready for the challenges this week!
