Fortnite Refer A Friend: How to unlock the Rainbow Racer skin

Fortnite‘s Refer A Friend program is back, allowing players to unlock cosmetic rewards for bringing their friends back to the game.
This time, the highly anticipated Rainbow Racer outfit will be unlockable by completing all of the challenges. Rainbow Racer was leaked in the game a long time ago and it never made its way to the Item Shop and fans were left wondering what was going on with the outfit.
Here is everything you need to know about the Fortnite Refer A Friend program and how to unlock Rainbow Racer.
How To Join The Fortnite Refer A Friend Program
Between now and November 14, 2021, players can join the Refer A Friend program and invite friends to it too to unlock rewards together.
You will need to sign up on the Refer a Friend website with your Epic account. Once you’ve done that you can invite up to five friends to join you in completing the tasks and unlock the rewards together.
The friends you invite must not have played more than 120 minutes of the game in the last 30 days, this is designed to bring old players back to the game. If you have an alt account on a second platform you could use that though.

Once you’ve added up to five friends you will immediately unlock the Grindlocked loading screen and will be eligible to take part in the remaining tasks.
Here are all of the challenges that you need to complete to unlock the rewards.
- Complete a connection – Gridlocked Loading Screen
- Play 1 game in Fortnite with a referee – Wrap
- Place top 10 3 times with your referee – Glider
- Eliminate 10 opponents with your referee – Pickaxe
- You and your referee must earn 60 account levels from where you were when starting the program – Rainbow Racer Outfit
