The Fortnite Refer a Friend program has returned! After the success of the Refer a Friend Rainbow Skin Challenge in October 2021, Epic Games are rechallenging players, only this time for the hugely anticipated, Xander Skin, plus 4 bonus rewards.

With the Summer update upon us, players are in store for a fun-filled Summer of Gaming, with players already in store for a whole host of new skins and cosmetics.

Whilst players await the update, they can complete the Refer a Friend challenges, launching July 19, 2022, to unlock the Xander skin with friends. Let’s take a look at the complete Challenge list, and how to earn all of the rewards.

Fortnite Refer a Friend – Challenges and Rewards

Before the challenges can be completed, players must first log into the Epic Games Refer a Friend Programme, and register themselves as a player. They must then select 5 friends to complete the challenges with, before the end date of January 10, 2023. Plenty of time to play together!

Once registered and logged in, “referrers” can invite friends to earn points by playing Fortnite together. In order to be a referee, a player must have played less than two hours of a Fortnite Battle Royale or Zero Build playlist (i.e., Solo, Duos, Trios, or Squads) within the past 30 days, before the invite.

  • Task 1 – Create a connection – Reward Spray

Players need to create their connection with either a referrer or by referring 5 players to the program

  • Task 2 – Play 1 game in Fortnite with a referee – Reward Wrap

Play 1 game together, in either Duo, Trios, or Squads – Build or Zero Build

  • Task 3 – Place top 10, 6 times with your referee – Reward Back Bling

Place top 10 6 times in Duos, Trios, or Squads – Build or Zero Build

  • Task 4 – Eliminate 45 opponents with your referee – Reward Pickaxe

Work together to eliminate 45 opponents

  • Task 5 – Gain plus 60 levels on your own and wait for your referee to gain 60 plus levels too – Reward Xander Skin

This task does not have to be completed with your referrer, but both must complete the task to earn the Xander Skin.
