Fortnite: Darth Vader leaked ahead of Season 3 Battle Pass

The best part of any new Fortnite season is the Battle Pass, with it offering over 100 rewards to be unlocked including a number of new skins and other cosmetics. Recent seasons have seen collaborations be part of each Battle Pass and new leaks suggest that Star Wars’ Darth Vader will be coming to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3.

It has been rumored for a few weeks that Darth Vader will be coming to Fortnite in Season 3, and this was confirmed during the Season 2 Collision event when a clip of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader dueling was seen in a portal.

Leakers have also been able to get into the in-game files and have confirmed that Darth Vader is in the files and have managed to bring us a look at the character model and he looks awesome.

Darth Vader’s character model looks fantastic, but it is worth noting that this is his cinematic model, so he could look a bit different when in-game.

It also isn’t clear yet whether his cape can be removed like Kylo Ren’s which is a back bling, or whether it is part of the cosmetic like Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi robe. This would allow a back bling to be placed over the top of it.

Seen in the image is the knife that is part of the Obi-Wan Kenobi cosmetic set, no Harvesting Tool has been confirmed for Darth Vader yet.

Logically, we would expect a Lightsaber to be included in the Battle Pass, but Epic Games has been reluctant to add one and it has never appeared alongside any of the Star Wars characters, hopefully, Darth Vader changes that because it would be the perfect Harvesting Tool for Star Wars fans.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 will begin on Sunday, June 5th, at 4 am EST/9 am BST.
