Fortnite Chapter 3 POI locations revealed

Fortnite Chapter 2 is now over, with the Season 8 live event seeing the Fortnite island plunged into the sea with the new Chapter 3 map underneath it, bringing a whole bunch of new POI locations to jump into.

Ahead of its launch, many leaks have become surfacing about what to expect when Fortnite Chapter 3 goes live including the new POIs and locations that players can expect to see when they jump from the Battle Bus.

Some popular locations return, some classic POIs have now been removed for the first time since Fortnite launched in 2017, and there are plenty of new ones that we have never seen before.

Here is what we know.

Fortnite Chapter 3 POI locations revealed

Prominent Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey has revealed the list of many of the POIs and landmarks that will be in Chapter 3 when it goes live.

OG locations such as Pleasant Park and Retail look to be removed from the game for the first time since Fortnite: Battle Royale was first released in September 2017.

The original Fortnite map had very few POIs but Pleasant Park and Retail Row were two of them, and they also made an appearance on the Chapter 2 map too.

It has been stated that the Chapter 2 map was created from the Chapter 1 map after it was sucked into the Zero Point at the conclusion of the Chapter 1 Season X event, and it also looks like the Chapter 3 map was created from it too.

With the Chapter 3 map being underneath the previous map, this makes sense as to why Pleasant Park and Retail Row have disappeared as there weren’t two of them on the Chapter 1 map.

But, this also means that some Chapter 1 POIs that we haven’t seen in over two years is finally making a return to the game.

Here is a list of all of the known landmarks and POIs that will be making an appearance in Fortnite Chapter 3.

We have added some notes to the list explaining what each might be. Chapter 1 POIs, Loot Lake, Sunny Steps, Shifty Shafts, and Greasy Grove, have been put in bold so you can spot them, and we’ve also theorized what some other locations may be. POIs typically use the same starting letters for all of the words so these ones likely will be POIs, while the rest will be landmarks.

It is great to see some of the classic locations make a return, although it appears that Tilted Towers won’t be making a return.

But, with the Chapter 3 map also being made from the original map, it is possible that one of these POIs will be very similar to Tilted Towers and could bring the same amount of fun that the old POI did back in Chapter 1.
