Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 is right around the corner, kicking off on March 16th. Each season brings new changes to the game, as well as new weapons and items, and the return of some old favourites.

Here are 5 weapons and items we want to see return in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.

Burst Assault Rifle

The Burst Assault Rifle has been a constant throughout most of Fortnite. It was recently removed for Season 5, removing one of the most popular weapons, and most powerful, weapons in the game, the AUG.

The AUG (Epic/Legendary Burst AR) was a fantastic Assault Rifle, and the sound effects were so satisfying. Considering it got replaced by the Heavy Assault Rifle, I think most players can agree that they’d rather have the Burst return in Season 6.

Hunting Rifle

We currently have a similar weapon in the game, the Lever Action Rifle. The problem is, the gun has been relegated to “It’ll do if I can’t find a Bolt”, but very few people purposely carry the gun.

Whereas many players would favour the Hunting Rifle over a regular Sniper Rifle due its fast reload, while still retaining the ability to one shot players in most instances.

Popular streamers such as Ninja would frequently carry the Hunting Rifle over the Bolt and it definitely deserves being unvaulted.

Pump Shotgun

The Pump Shotgun definitely has a love/hate relationship in Fortnite, players love it and Epic hate it. Currently there are many shotguns in the game, but fans still hold out for the day when the Pump makes a return.

Will we see it make a comeback in Season 6?

Slurp Juice

Slurp still has a strong presence in the game, with the Chug Splashes and Slurp Barrels both having a similar effect, but the original Slurp Juice hasn’t been seen for some time.

It was a great healing item that was often used when found rather than carried due to it healing per second. For this reason it wasn’t the best to use mid fight, but a great healing item during the quieter moments of the match.

Launch Pads

Mobility has been something all players have struggled with throughout Chapter 2, and once again removing the Launch Pads in Season 5 hasn’t helped with that.

I don’t think there’s a single player in the game who is glad they’re gone, so Epic please just add them back in.
