Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is in full swing, with the second major update of the season being released today, the 20.20 update.

In the update, a new weapon has been added, the Battle for Coney Crossroads begins, and the secret skin of the season is now unlocked.

Here is everything you need to know about the Fortnite 20.20 update.

The Battle For Coney Crossroads begins

The Battle for Condo Canyon is over and the Blimp has been destroyed, and now the Resistance has their eyes set on Coney Crossroads.

Like other battles, Coney Crossroads now has a Funding Station to add an Armored Battle Bus and Turrets to the POI, as well as the Huntmaster Saber boss being found on the Blimp.

The war will rage on until the next update when the Blimp will be destroyed and the battle will move to a new POI.

New Ranger Shotgun

The Ranger Shotgun was added as part of the 20.20 update, with it being a new one-shot weapon that needs to be reloaded after each time it is fired. The weapon can deal a lot of damage though, including at range, which could make it a great choice for Zero Build mode where it is more difficult to block the shot.

LMG is returning

It is expected that the LMG will return either on April 21 or April 26. The LMG is a medium-ranged weapon with a fast fire rate and large magazine, but it has a very slow reload time. This won’t be part of the Funding Station and instead will just be unvaulted.

Next Funding Station

The next Funding Stations are now active, with players now able to choose to unvault the Bubble Shield or Balloons, we highly recommend choosing the Bubble Shield as they will be an incredibly valuable item in Zero Builds.

Following this, the next items will go live for voting soon after, with the next options being between the Boogie bomb and Rift To Go.

From April 22, players will be able to find both items across the map to use them both again until April 25 when the voting will go live.

For this one, we suggest going with the Rift To Go, while the Boogie Bomb will make for some funny clips, the Rift To Go will be hugely beneficial for mobility, especially in Zero Builds where Launchpads are disabled.
