It’s here! A new map is upon us, complete with a revamped battle bus and a new vehicle to play with – the Fortnite Trail Thrasher Dirt Bike!

Over the many seasons of Fortnite, we’ve had an assortment of vehicles including airplanes, golf carts, ballers, helicopters, and even a shopping cart! And now with the addition of a dirt bike, players can reach new heights by performing tricks and exploring the new map.

Fornite Trail Thrasher Dirt Bike – moves at speeds like no other

Blasting through the island at high speeds, the new Trail Thrasher Dirt Bike addition to the island gives players another method to escape enemies and the storm without taking fall damage when jumping from high locations – always a bonus!

As with other vehicles that spawn on the island, there is no guaranteed location, however, at the time of writing, they are predominantly being found in any area that has green land. Located within and around the Green Biome is a series of ramps, enabling players to perform tricks at high speed, as well as use them for a quick getaway.

Players can gain themselves Battle Pass XP too. Traveling on a Trail Thrasher Dirt Bike awards players 6,000XP after every milestone – easy XP for very little effort to help progress through this Seasons Battle Pass.

How to drive the Trail Thrasher Dirt Bike – it takes some serious balance!

A somewhat sensitive vehicle, the Trail Thrasher Dirt Bike certainly takes some skill to handle correctly.

Using the following controls, players will be a master in no time:

  • Square / X / E – Mount/Dismount
  • X / A / Space Bar – Jump
  • HOLD X / A / Space Bar – Charged Jump 
  • R3 / Right Analog Stick / Left Ctrl – Switch Seat
  • Circle / B / Left Shift – Power Slide/Trick
  • Down on D-Pad / B – Use Horn

Players can perform tricks on the bike using the Left Shift key, circle, or B button.

Capable of skidding around corners, and jumping over obstacles, as well as the ability to dodge enemy bullets, they’re a welcome addition to the island!
