Release Date, Prices of the Pixel Remasters of Final Fantasy I, II, and III Announced

Square Enix revealed a new trailer, which features, in its description, the release date of Pixel Remasters of the acclaimed and genre-defying Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, and Final Fantasy III.

The titles will be released on July 28 and will be the first titles of the newly announced Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series to be released.

The series will re-release the six first tittles of the franchise with improved graphics, maintaining but improving their original 2D style, resolution, effects, an updated battle system featuring an updated interface, new functions, and many extras.

The Steam page of all three titles was also updated, now featuring new information about the three releases, their prices, new screenshots, and more. 

On Steam, you can buy the tittles separately for $11.99 each ($9.99 on pre-sale) or as a bundle featuring all six releases, which will be made available after the release of the Pixel Remaster of Final Fantasy IV.

With this reveal, is safe to assume that the remaining 3 titles will also be released simultaneously, for the delight of JRPG fans. 

The Pixel Remastered Series will be released exclusively for PC and mobile devices, on Google Play and in the App Store. No information regarding the release of the games for consoles was revealed, but we can hope they soon find their way to the platforms.
