The next Call of Duty title is finally out on all platforms – other than the Nintendo Switch – and that means there are tonnes of new weapons to check out and plenty of Create-A-Class options to look over. The Itra Burst is a four-round burst Assault Rifle that we’ve seen once before – in Call of Duty WWII. It makes a triumphant return in Sledgehammer Games’ Vanguard, but how does it compare to the other Assault Rifles on offer? Here’s everything you need to know about the Itra Burst and the best Itra Burst loadout and class build for Vanguard’s multiplayer.

Vanguard’s Itra Burst – Assault Rifle

The Itra Burst is one of the few burst-fire weapons in Call of Duty Vanguard – and it’s one of the few weapons in Call of Duty history to opt for a four-round burst. This gives it a higher damage output than some burst-fire weapons out there, but that comes at a cost.

The delay between bursts can often mean that your overall damage output per second is a bit slower than a fully automatic weapon. If you miss a burst, it could be lethal – for you. However, if you’re caught in a tight spot and land a full burst, it could be lethal – for whoever’s on the other end of your Itra Burst.
