Call of Duty Vanguard is here and the Bren is one Light Machine Gun you’re going to be seeing in Sledgehammer Games‘ new multiplayer experience. It’s hard-hitting with low recoil, but not without its drawbacks. Here’s the best Bren loadout and class build for Vanguard’s multiplayer – something that should make it a viable option.

Vanguard’s Bren – Light Machine Gun

The Bren is a certified Call of Duty classic, although it isn’t always remembered favourably by those who use it. Unlike other Light Machine Guns, it doesn’t have a huge base Magazine. It also deals a lot more damage per shot – you only really need two or three to eliminate your target at a good range.

The only issue with the Bren is it’s slow – it fires slowly and it’s heavy. This makes mobility a nightmare without the right attachments. It does benefit from a faster reload time than other Light Machine Guns, due to its smaller magazine, but it’s hardly as quick as an Assault Rifle. The Bren is great for gunning down targets at range, but it needs a lot of work and it isn’t the easiest to master.
