Vanguard: Best BAR loadout & class build

Best BAR Loadout

Sledgehammer Games‘ newest Call of Duty game is finally here and that means there are tonnes of new weapons to check out and get to grips with. The BAR is a classic Assault Rifle that Call of Duty veterans will know – and possibly love. How does it shape up in Call of Duty Vanguard, though? That’s what we want to know. Here’s the best BAR loadout and class build to get you ready for Vanguard’s evolving multiplayer experience

Vanguard’s BAR – Assault Rifle

In Vanguard’s multiplayer, the BAR is going to be a safe bet if you’re looking to deal a good amount of damage at a longer range – but you still want to be somewhat adaptable to people pushing your firing lanes and any objectives you might be sat on. It’s a weapon you should check out at least once, but we know it might not be everyone’s first choice.

For an Assault Rifle, it does a fair bit of damage – however, that comes at a cost. It’s quite slow and the base magazine size is laughable when you could be sat there mounted with an LMG instead. There are ten attachments on offer, however, in Vanguard’s multiplayer. So… there’s scope to tinker with the BAR.

The BAR isn’t going to be your first choice jumping into a Free-For-All, but you should keep it in mind when playing on maps where there are lanes to keep clear. Here’s the best BAR loadout for Vanguard at the moment, one that leans into both its strengths and manages its weaknesses.
