Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Vanguard takes players back to World War 2 in one of the most over-the-top and chaotic entries in the series to date.
Whether you’re playing the campaign, multiplayer, or Zombies it is very hectic with lots of action and tons of fun.
For this article though we’re going to be focusing on the campaign, specifically how long it takes to beat the game.
How long does it take to beat Call of Duty: Vanguard?
Like the majority of games in the series, Vanguard has a campaign mode that sees the player play through various points of World War 2 as members of a team of six that were chosen to infiltrate and take down the Nazis.
In total, there are nine missions to play through in the Call of Duty: Vanguard campaign, with each mission lasting between 30-45 minutes.
If you’re playing on a harder difficulty, such as Veteran, or you struggle with them and are killed by the enemies a lot, then the missions may last longer.
But, if you have no problem going through each mission then the whole campaign should take between 5-7 hours, so not a very long campaign.
Although the game has just been released and not many people have completed it, How Long To Beat currently has the game listed as taking 5.5 hours to complete, which is similar to the time it took us to complete the campaign too.
Once completed, you could either try and complete it again on a harder difficulty to unlock some achievements and trophies or jump into multiplayer and Zombies.
The multiplayer aspect of the game introduces destructible environments for the first time in the series. While not as destructible as the Battlefield series, it still makes for an even more chaotic game and adds a new element to the gameplay.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now on PC via Battle Net, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
