Maximum Speed
As a statistic, Speed is pretty straight-forward. It takes into account your Aim Down Sight Time, Sprint to Fire Time, and Shooting Move Speed amongst others. Here’s how to maximise Speed with the QBZ-83.
- Optic: N/A
- Muzzle: N/A
- Barrel: 13.7” Ultralight
Strafe Speed +5% - Body: Steady Aim Laser
Hip Fire Accuracy +20% - Underbarrel: Infiltrator Grip
Movement Speed +5%

- Handle: Serpent Grip
Aim Down Sight Time +25%
Sprint to Fire Time -10% - Stock: Raider Stock
Sprint to Fire Time +30%
Aim Walking Movement Speed +40%
Hip Fire Accuracy -30%
This is as fast as you’re going to get with an Assault Rifle equipped; however, it comes with some costs. The Raider Stock adds fantastic Sprint to Fire Time bonuses, but reduces Hip Fire Accuracy substantially. The Steady Aim Laser has been included to try and counterbalance this alongside the Serpent Grip to improve Aim Down Sight Times. The Barrel attachment also provides additional Strafe Speed for this ultrafast QBZ-83 loadout set-up.

Despite there being a lot of negative effects to Speed-related statistics, this QBZ-83 attachment loadout set-up is in no way a slow weapon. It’s naturally high mobility affords for the inclusion of the SWAT 5mw Laser Sight and Field Agent Grip. The Tactical Stock and Airborne Elastic Wrap both balance this out, though. It’s still not the most accurate, but this QBZ-83 is a lot better in that respect.

Personal Picks
When all is said and done, it’s always best to tweak your QBZ-83 attachments loadout set-up until you have a weapon that best suits your playstyle. That being said, we’ve compiled a Personal Pick that we’ve found is one of the best set-ups out there.

- Body: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
Hip Fire Accuracy +40%
Aim Down Sight Time -8% - Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
Movement Speed +3%

Aim Walking Movement Speed +3% - Magazine: 40 Rnd Drum
Magazine Ammo Capacity +33%

Reload Quickness -10% - Handle: SASR Jungle Grip
Aim Down Sight Time +15%
Flinch Resistance +80%
Sprint to Fire Time -12% - Stock: Marathon Stock
Sprint to Fire Time +10%
With the QBZ-83 being better in close-range scenarios, we decided to lean further into making it a great “breach and clear” weapon. We haven’t gone for the quickest QBZ-83 attachment loadout set-up, but it’s definitely not slow. The SWAT 5mw Laser Sight brings the highest bonus to Hip Fire Accuracy available, with the Marathon Stock countering the negative effects of the SASR Jungle Grip. Don’t expect fantastic recoil control with this set-up, but it’ll kill in the tight spots when you need it to.
