Apex Legends Valkyrie: What We Know So Far
Apex Legends’ brand new trailer is out and it gives us a great look at how Valkyrie is going to play going forwards. It was also Respawn Entertainment’s chance to give us the low-down of the new Arena Mode which frankly looks insane.
LATEST – New Look At Valkyrie’s Abilities in Apex Legends
From the leak below, we know that Valkyrie is going to have “Cluster Missle” and “Skyward” as her Tactical and Ultimate abilties and we now have our first look at both of these.
Cluster Missile looks like a smaller-scale, quicker version of Gibraltar’s Ultimate ability and you can see it in use below:
In addition to this, we also got a look at Skyward… With this, it seems like Valkyrie’s squad members can “latch on / hook up” to her Jump Pack and initiate their own re-deploy.

Meet Valkyrie
As seen in the Northstar promotional video, Valkyrie is a daughter of a Titan pilot named Viper.
In her story, she has been hunting down Kuben Blisk as her father died while working for him.
During their confrontation, Valkyrie spared Blisk and joined the Apex Games herself to finally move on and make a legacy for herself.
Prior to Apex Legends, Viper is one of the bosses fought in Titanfall 2. The character was known for using a heavily customized Northstar Titan that could fire off missile salvos and fly elusively as it fought off the main character.
Viper’s titan is also heavily connected to Valkyrie as Rampart was seen scavenging the mech to use as tech for the Legend.

Valkyrie’s Skills
Even with the Season 9 promotional site up, Valkyrie’s skills and abilities have not yet been revealed. Nevertheless, her promotional image shows her using a jetpack strapped with missile launchers.
So far, Apex Legends leaks called this upcoming Legend as “Valk” and her abilities allow her to fly through the sky and rain down missiles on her foes.
As seen from Twitter leaks last year, Valkyrie’s tactical ability allows her to shoot missiles, meanwhile, her passive allows her to float in the air on command.
Lastly, her ultimate allows Valkyrie and nearby teammates to propel up into air and skydive back into the map.
As her lore has been revealed, the official Valkyrie ability reveal should also come next like all previous Legends.
Valkyrie Teases on Instagram
The official PlayApex Instagram holds some unique teases about some of Valkyrie’s moves in-game. As seen on the cryptic videos, the Camera 9, 17, and 23 video feeds show Valkyrie’s jetpack, her hovering ability, and one of her finishers.

Valkyrie is slated for release this coming May 6. More reveals could show up in the two weeks as Season 8 closes up.
