Nintendo Switch Online: Every N64 and Genesis game coming to the service
During the recent Nintendo Direct, one of the announcements was the news that both N64 and Sega Genesis games will be making their way to the Nintendo Switch Online service.
The games are due to be added to the service in October 2021, but it is expected that the price of the service will increase for those wanting access to these games, but specific details haven’t been announced as of yet.
Here is what we can expect to see come to Nintendo Switch Online next month.
N64 Launch Titles
The following N64 games will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online next month.
- Super Mario 64
- Mario Kart 64
- Star Fox 64
- Yoshi’s Story
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Winback
- Mario Tennis
- Dr. Mario 64
Genesis Launch Titles
The following SEGA Genesis games will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online next month.
- Castlevania Bloodlines
- Contra: Hard Corps
- Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
- Ecco The Dolphin
- Golden Aze
- Gunstar Heroes
- Musha
- Phantasy Star IV
- Ristar
- Shining Force
- Shinobi 3
- Sonic The Hedgehog 2
- Streets Of Range 2
- Strider

Future Titles
Future titles that will be coming to the service include The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, F-Zero X, Mario Golf, Pokemon Snap, Kirby 64, Paper Mario, Banjo-Kazooie.
It is expected that the cost of the service will increase for players that want to play these titles, but more details will be shared closer to the time of their release.
Wireless N64 And Genesis Controllers
In order to play these games the way they were meant to be played, Nintendo will be releasing wireless N64 and Genesis controllers for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
The controllers will cost $49.99 each and will be released in October 2021.
