Fasten your seat belts! Another set of courses is coming to Nintendo Switch’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Featuring older Mario Kart tracks from the Super NES to the mobile versions, this update will surely be excitingly nostalgic.

And if you love shiny new tracks, don’t worry. There will be a new track, too!

When will Wave 2 of the ‘Booster Course Pass’ DLC be available?

Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass will be released on August 4th, 2022.

What courses will be added on Wave 2?

If you loved the chaos of the Waluigi Pinball course from Mario Kart DS or the scenic drive through the Big Apple-inspired course from Mario Kart Tour, then you’ll definitely love this update. Below are the eight (8) courses that will be arriving on Wave 2. They have divided into two (2) Cups:

TURNIP CUP

  • Tour New York Minute (Mario Kart Tour)
  • SNES Mario Circuit 3 (Super Mario Kart)
  • N64 Kalimari Desert (Mario Kart 64)
  • DS Waluigi Pinball (Mario Kart DS)

PROPELLER CUP

  • Tour Sydney Sprint (Mario Kart Tour)
  • GBA Snow Land (Mario Kart: Super Circuit)
  • Wii Mushroom Gorge (Mario Kart Wii)
  • Sky-High Sundae

Now, here’s the newest addition to the courses of Mario Kart games. Sure, we have driven through dessert-inspired tracks before, but this new one is not only sweet, but it’s also pretty chill regardless of how the race is heating up! Love sundaes? You can see huge ones everywhere in the new Sky-High Sundae course.

How can I get these Wave 2 courses?

You can only drive through these courses starting August 4th if you already have the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass. You can get this from the Nintendo eShop or the My Nintendo Store for 24.99 USD.

If you have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, you can simply download the Booster Course Pass through the eShop at no additional cost.
