Persona 5 Strikers is the next title from Omega Force and P-Studio in the hit JRPG action series. However, will Persona 5 Strikers be on PS5 consoles?

Persona 5 Strikers has been avaialble in Japan on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch since February 2020! Now though, both the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 console is out.

Is Persona 5 Strikers on PS5?

Technically, no. But, in theory yes. We’ll explain…

Following it’s global release in February 2021, Persona 5 Strikers is available on the Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows, AND PlayStation 4.

There isn’t any native PS5 release for Persona 5 Strikers yet. However, you can play this game and many others thanks to the PS5’s advanced backwards compatibility system.

This won’t change how the game plays, but it will ensure that it is performing at it’s best. This means it will be a lot more stable, load quicker, and should look a little better thanks to the PS5’s improved graphical capabilities.

What Is It About?

Persona 5 Strikers is a gameplay crossover between Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors series and Atlus’ Persona franchise.

Persona is usually a turn-based RPG, however this title adopts Dynasty Warriors’ real-time action combat. This unique title combines the two for a fantastic experience.

Joker, the game’s main character, has access to multiple Personas throughout which change the way he plays and what he can do.

Persona 5’s Confidant System is notably absent from this. however there is a new Requests System which is essentially a series of time-limited side quests that appear in-game and offer exciting rewards.
