Genshin Impact 1.5 Eula: Will she be the best Physical DPS?

Eula

We are still a few weeks away from the upcoming Genshin Impact 1.5 update, but leaks began to surface almost immediately.

Since her unofficial reveal, Genshin Impact’s new upcoming 5-star character Eula became, with her DPS-focused set, stylish animations, and lore, a fan-favourite.

And, after her stats, talents, and constellation also surfaced online, players started to ask themselves if she will be, in fact, the game‘s best Physical DPS.

Who Is Eula?

According to the recent leaks, Eula is known as The Spindrift Knight, the Captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company, and the heir of an old aristocratic family.

Will Eula be The Game’s Best Physical DPS?

According to her stats, which leaked last week on Honey Impact, Eula will have one of the highest amounts of base ATK in the game, staying only behind Xiao (349).

But differently from Xiao, or any of the other top DPS in Genshin, like Diluc, Hu Tao, Klee, and Ganyu, Eula will be focused not on Elemental, but on Physical Damage.

You can check out her stats below, going from level 1 to level 90, courtesy of Honey Impact:

  • Lv1: Base HP: 1030 / Base ATK: 27 / Base DEF: 58 / CRIT DMG: 50%
  • Lv.20+: Base HP: 3554 / Base ATK: 92 / Base DEF: 202 / CRIT DMG: 50%
  • Lv.40+: Base HP: 5944 / Base ATK: 154/ Base DEF: 337 / CRIT DMG: 59,6%
  • Lv.50+: Base HP: 7675 / Base ATK: 198 / Base DEF: 436 / CRIT DMG: 69.2%
  • Lv.60+: Base HP: 9207 / Base ATK: 238 / Base DEF: 523 / CRIT DMG: 69,2%
  • Lv.70+: Base HP: 10746 / Base ATK: 278 / Base DEF: 610 / CRIT DMG: 78,8%
  • Lv.80+: Base HP: 12296 / Base ATK: 318 / Base DEF: 698 / CRIT DMG: 88,4%
  • Lv:90: Base HP: 13226 / Base ATK: 342 / Base DEF: 751 / CRIT DMG: 88,4%

Also according to Honey Impact, her talents will be focused on improving her overall physical damage, with her Elemental Skill ”Icetide Vortex” not only dealing Cryo damage but also lowering the opponent’s Physical and Cryo damage resistances.

Her Elemental Burst ”Glacial illumination”, on the other hand, will deal a high amount of Cryo damage and generates a ”Lightfall Sword”, which charges every time Eula hits an enemy and explodes dealing an insane amount of AoE Physical Damage after a said time.

The Sword scaling is really high, going from 352.6% (Lv.1) to 1024.59& (Lv.15).

  • Is also important to keep in mind that Eula’s substat will be – if there are no further changes in her set – Critical Damage.

Currently, in the game, the best Physical DPS is Razor, who, being a 4-star character, has significantly lower base stats, with 234 base ATK at level 90.

With that in mind, is safe to assume the Eula will outperform him on overall damage, with her skills, which are focused on improving her Physical damage, pulling her damage further beyond.

  • Is important to point out that, even if Razors normal and charged attacks scale better, the difference in overall ATK makes up for it.

Overall, Eula looks like a pretty straightforward DPS, which with the right weapon, and artifacts, will be able to carry you through the battlefield and deal big numbers.

A Match Made in Celestia

Artifacts are the lifeblood of every character, doesn’t matter their role, and, the game already has a few sets that could fit Eula’s playstyle well, like Gladiator’s Finale, Bloodstained Knight, and the recently leaked Last Act of Foolishness, which will not only increase Physical Damage but also the characters overall ATK.

Truly, if the set is confirmed officially, it looks like a match made in heaven, or better, in Celestia.

Please remember that all the data that refers to the upcoming character and artifact set was not revealed officially by miHoYo, being the result of many revealed leaks. This means, that, even if confirmed, they are subjected to change until their official release.

Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices, and PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher. A version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is also reportedly in the works.

Eula is rumored to be coming to Genshin Impact on its Version 1.5. Excited?
