Xbox Games With Gold April 2021 announced

Finally, the Games With Gold for Xbox Live have been announced for the month of April. That being said, the lineup is a bit…lackluster.
The games being offered, as usual, consist of two Xbox One titles as well as two Xbox 360 titles. The games that you will be able to pick up for free in the month of April include:
- Vikings: Wolves of Midgard: Available April 1 to April 30
- Truck Racing Championship: Available April 16 to May 15
- Dark Void: Available April 1 to April 15
- Hard Corps: Uprising: Available April 16 to April 30

These four games will be available to Xbox Live Gold members at different times throughout April, so if you want to pick them up, make sure to grab them before each disappears.
You will be able to play these games either on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S. If you are a Game Pass Ultimate member as well, you will have access to these games.
Xbox Live has had a lot of recent changes lately, but this proves that they have ultimately decided to keep Games With Gold for now. But April’s lineup isn’t all that impressive, especially after February had some impressive titles including Gears 5.

The four games being offered to members are either unheard of, or have received subpar reviews in the past. The lowest rated of the bunch is Dark Void, which was given a 5 out of 10 by IGN. The other games being offered barely hit any higher than a 7 out of 10.
Xbox often stumbles when it comes to their Xbox Live service, but luckily they make up for it with the incredibly strong Game Pass service. If none of these games catch your attention, then you can check out the hundreds of amazing games being offered over on Game Pass instead.
