The PS Plus games for August 2022 have been announced

Since 2010, Sony has given away multiple games every month to PS Plus subscribers, with them ranging from everything from AAA blockbuster titles to the hottest indie games, and plenty of hidden gems too.

It is now that time again as Sony has just announced the next PS Plus games that will be coming to the service in August 2022.

This month, three games will be given away, with them all being PS4 games but two will feature upgraded PS5 versions for those that own the elusive console. Here is everything you need to know.

The next games that will be coming to PS Plus in August 2022 have been announced, with three new titles being added to the service. All three will be playable on PS4, while two will come with upgraded PS5 versions.

Sony will be giving away the following games:

  • Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered (PS4/PS5)
  • Yakuza: Like A Dragon (PS4/PS5)
  • Little Nightmares (PS4)

It is worth noting that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is the Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle, which means that players can upgrade to the PS5 version for free, and it also includes the Deluxe Edition bonus content too.

  • ‘The Ripper’ skater from Powell-Peralta®
  • Unique retro outfits for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero and Rodney Mullen
  • Unique retro content for the Create-A-Skater mode

8 Yakuza games are coming to PS Plus in 2022

It has been revealed that eight Yakuza games will be coming to PS Plus Premium and Extra during 2022.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon has been given away as part of PS Plus for August 2022, while Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be added to PS Plus Premium and Extra in 2022.

These will be followed by Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 5 Remastered, and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life later in 2022.

The PS Plus games for July 2022 will be available until August 1st before the next games rotate onto PS Plus.

These games are,

  • Dark Pictures: Man of Medan
  • Arcadegeddon
