The PS Plus games for April 2021 have been announced, with Sony giving away a brand new PS5 game on launch day, as well as two PS4 games.

Here is everything we know about the PS Plus games for April 2021.

PS Plus April 2021 Games Revealed

Sony has revealed the next games that will be coming to PS Plus in April 2021.

The games that will be given away next month are;

  • Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5)
  • Days Gone (PS4)
  • Zombie Army 4 (PS4)

All of the games will be playable on PlayStation 5, however Oddworld: Soulstorm will be PS5 only, but PS4 users can claim the game ready for when they upgrade to next-gen.

Release Date

The PS Plus games for April 2021 will be released on Wednesday, April 6th.

Oddworld: Soulstorm

During the State of Play event it was announced that Oddworld: Soulstorm will be given away for free to PS Plus members on launch day.

Oddworld: Soulstorm launches on April 6th, giving us the date of when the rest of the games go live.

The PS5 version of the game is the only one that will be free, PS4 users will still have to purchase the game. But, PS4 users can claim the PS5 version to play at a later date.

Oddworld: Soulstorm Features

Action Adventure Platforming: Evolving the platforming genre by adding RPG-lite elements with player agency to play as they like, whether aggressively or passively.
Narrative: A dark storyline with a twisted sense of humor that shines a light on the ironies that exist in the human condition.
2.9D: Epic environments with massive scale to explore by going into the world, rather than being limited to the traditional side scrolling platformer sense.
Quarma: Quarma is a real time feedback feature that reflects your actions in the game and will influence Abe, his followers, his abilities, and your score throughout the game.
Scavenger’s Economy: Pickpocket enemies, loot lockers, sift through trash cans to acquire resources. Exchange them at vending machines to get products that give you more agency in how you chose to conquer the game’s many challenges.
Crafting: Use scavenged resources and vending machine products to craft items to use as weapons or tools against characters and obstacles.
Strength in Numbers: The more followers you save, the stronger the uprising becomes. Gift crafted items to followers. It’s up to you to decide whether they will be aggressive or passive.
Gameplay: Intense action platforming meets stealth and platform puzzling. Choose whether to burn it down, blow it up or simply try to sneak around it – but beware the deadly environments and enemies at every turn.
Leaderboards: All levels offer a tallying system, leaderboards, achievements, and badges.
