After the first week of the 2022 LCS Spring Split, FlyQuest had become known for one way of playing, and that was with a support champion in the top lane with smite. On Saturday they took that narrative and turned it on its head. Instead of Kumo, the top laner for FlyQuest, playing a smite champion, he instead plaid Ornn, a typical tank played in the role, and the team drafted a traditional team composition against TSM. This played more in their favor than anyone could have expected, having the fasted game of the day, finishing at around twenty-five minutes.

The whole team stood out in this game, with the mid laner, Toucouille having a particularly exceptional game. Playing his signature Zoe, a champion he became known for in the Lock In Tournament, he took over the game. He pushed his lane in and roamed constantly, getting kills and the other lanes for his team ahead. It got to the point where members of TSM could not win a team fight where they had more members alive than FlyQuest, they were that far behind. With this win, they now have sole possession of the first position for the whole league, only tomorrow will tell if they will keep it.
