In the entire history of the LCS, TSM has been in every single version of the playoffs. They had a streak of 18 splits in a row, but that all ended this weekend. After their loss to 100 Thieves on Friday, they had no possibility of playoffs at all.

The only way they could have made it was if they won every game this weekend and other teams won their matchups, but since they lost, the various possibilities didn’t mean anything.

The break between the Spring Split and Summer Split for TSM should be interesting just due to the roster changes that are due to happen.

Changes that could happen are ones like Jensen joining the roster in mid-lane, and Ignar potentially joining at support, but we don’t know until it happens.

The other teams that missed playoffs are Counter Logic Gaming, Dignitas Qntmpay, and Immortals Progressive. Cloud9, Team Liquid, 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, Evil Geniuses, and Golden Guardians all made the Spring Playoffs.
