The 2022 LCS Championship weekend concluded with Evil Geniuses making not one, but two 3-0 sweeps of both Team Liquid and 100 Thieves to win it all and make the trip to MSI in Busan, South Korea.

The performance of the young players in Jojopyun and Danny, especially Danny, played extremely well in the face of the giant crowd at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Danny specifically had insane plays in the series against Team Liquid, including a steal of Baron, leading to him getting a Pentakill against the entire Team Liquid roster with only his support, Vulcan, at his side.

In the 100 Thieves series, Evil Geniuses did not step off the gas from their last series. Playing out of their minds, they swept the defending champions in stunning fashion, not even giving their opponents a chance to fight back in the middle to late-game situations in every game.

With this win, Evil Geniuses are on their way to MSI for the first time in the organization’s history. With the group having been drawn the day before the Grand Finals, all fans of Evil Geniuses and North American League of Legends can do is wait for the tournament to start.
